Who we are
MISSION

Chicago Community and Workers' Rights is an organization run by workers for workers - regardless of immigration status - dedicated to educating, fostering leadership, and gathering resources to develop organizing tools and collective strategies of resistance against employer abuse, toward just living conditions for our families.
VISION

Our vision is of a community where workers' rights are respected, including the right to fair wages and medical benefits; where labor laws are fair and respected by employers and companies; where workers are at the head of unions and labor rights organizations, which have sufficient resources and power to make demands of government and industry; where independent collective organizations or worker-owned businesses can thrive and be respected.
VALUES

At CCWR we believe that workers and the community drive our mission;
best way to support workers to defend their rights is to provide access to
tools, information, resources, and support to organize themselves; It is important to support the creation of stable, independent, and self-sufficient collectives, owned by the workers, and where labor rights are respected.
