Leadership

Three core groups and the Executive Director carry out CCWR's decisions on campaigns and day-to-day operations:

  1. The Board of Directors
  2. CCWR staff and volunteers
  3. The Community Advocates group

All of these groups are composed primarily of workers that CCWR has helped fight for better working conditions and jobs.

Currently, CCWR has about 30 volunteers who can provide support to other workers and, together with the Executive Director.

The governing body of the organization is the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors, along with the Executive Director, meet every 3 months to discuss projects to pursue, fundraising issues and review CCWR policies. It is made up of 7 people, five of whom are workers CCWR has worked with and two who come from outside the organization. According to CCWR's structure, there must always be one more worker than an external board member. The names of the current board members are: Damaso Ramirez, Ruth Gomberg-Muñoz, Evangelina Martinez, Petra Tomas, Pablo Hernandez, Armando Robles, and Felipe Diosdado.
